Visual Overload

Users experiencing visual overload are quickly overwhelmed by dense layouts, flashing elements, or competing visual information. Simplified displays can reduce stress.

This difficulty may occur in connection with:

ADHD – Attention-deficit / hyperactivity-related difficulties such as distractibility, impulsivity, or sensitivity to visual motion.
Dyscalculia – Difficulty interpreting numbers, visual patterns, symbols or structured visual content.

Adjust Cursor Size

Increases the size of the cursor to make it easier to see and follow.

Auto-Rotate Lock

Prevents the screen from rotating automatically and keeps the view stable.

High Contrast Mode

Enables a high-contrast color scheme to improve visibility, where supported by the operating system.

Increase Contrast

Enhances visual contrast so interface elements become easier to distinguish.

Invert Colors

Reverses screen colors to reduce glare and improve contrast.

Reading Mode / Reader View

Shows webpages in a simplified, distraction-free layout, if supported by the browser.

Reduce Transparency & Blur

Minimizes blur and transparency effects to make interface elements clearer and easier to see.

Reduce Brightness / Dark Mode

Uses darker interfaces and lower screen brightness to reduce glare and visual strain.

Reduce Motion

Reduces animations and motion effects to decrease visual strain.

Reduce White Point

Lowers the intensity of bright areas to decrease glare and visual strain.

Greyscale Mode

Displays the entire screen in black and white to reduce visual overstimulation and unify colour contrasts.
