Light Sensitivity

Users with light sensitivity experience discomfort or visual strain when screens are too bright or high-contrast. Adjustments such as reducing brightness, using dark mode, or enabling reduced white point can significantly improve comfort.

This difficulty may occur in connection with:

Relevant Settings

Invert Colors

Reverses screen colors to reduce glare and improve contrast.

Greyscale Mode

Displays the entire screen in black and white to reduce visual overstimulation and unify colour contrasts.

Night Mode / Blue Light Filter

Reduces the blue light component of the screen and shifts the colour temperature to warmer tones — to relieve eye strain and support sleep.
